Sideline SideKick Tracker is an iOS app for high school football coaches. Log plays from the sideline, get live stats during the game and a postgame report when it's over.

Set up your team once: roster, playbook and team colors. After that, everyone signed in to the team can log plays together. The app keeps working when the connection drops and syncs when it returns.

Sideline Headset

Sideline Headset is a second app from the same developer: a wireless headset that lets your coaches talk to each other during a game over their own phones. It's a free download on the App Store, included with a coach subscription.

Sign in with your existing Sideline SideKick account and you land on your own staff. No separate sign-up, no invite code. It's for coaching staff only. A parent or player following in the read-only Fan role can't go on the line.

Headset support uses the same address. Include two things when you write in: whether the coach who had trouble was on Wi-Fi or cellular, and whether the staff was sharing one phone's hotspot. Those two answers explain nearly every connection problem.

Headset stores different information from the tracker and records no audio at all, so it has its own privacy policy.
